1640 – that’s when the Eggerwirt passed into the ownership of our family. Since 1984, Albert and Inge Moser have been channelling all their energy and devotion into their role of hosts and their visionary ideas for the hotel. Together with daughter Eva, son-in-law Kurt Pirker, hotel director Martin Holzfeind and the long-standing team of staff, they’re ready to lead Hotel Eggerwirt into the future.
Together, we pursue a holistic approach to well-being. We want each and every guest to find their own special energising haven where they can wind down and recharge their batteries. Each phase of life brings its own special needs. We cater to them – with our Garden Spa, our kitchens, our rooms and outdoor activities.

Building on our roots – as a plain and simple guest house – we’ve progressed to become a founder of children’s hotels and the best spa hotel in Austria. Down to earth but with a strong vision for the future, we’ve never stopped developing our hotel. We strive to offer an authentic, high-quality atmosphere – for our guests, our staff and the people who live in our region. Every day, we pause to reflect on how we can make our hotel a holiday paradise where everything is possible. At the same time, we strive to act sustainably and use resources mindfully. We treasure our untouched mountain paradise, the crystal-clear Alpine air and our pure mountain spring water.

Instead of increasing the number of beds in our hotel, we’d rather increase the level of comfort and freedom our guests can enjoy.

The birth of our grandson Kurt was a very special moment in our lives, and we’d like to share this joy with others. Trust and security are important in every family, and they play a lead role in Hotel Eggerwirt too. We regard our guests and our staff as members of our extended family.
