Munich-Salzburg autobahn, A10/Tauern autobahn in the direction of Villach until the St. Michael exit, or autobahn (A 10) until the Eben exit, then take the B 99 via Radstadt, Obertauern and Mauterndorf to St. Michael

From the east:

Vienna - Semmeringtunnel- Leoben- Unzmarkt- Scheifling- Murau- Tamsweg- St. Michael or Vienna-A1 West autobahn to Salzburg and then proceed as above.

From the south:

Autostrada: Udine- Tarvisio- Villach, A10/ Tauern autobahn in the direction of Germany / Salzburg- Katschberg tunnel- exit St. Michael
